Mariah Lang (née Houtz), is a Maine-based artist raised in Kennebunkport where she

developed a strong connection to the coast. The majority of her work is inspired by the

sea and the movement of water. While spending time on Goat Island, Mariah has

enjoyed photographing the island on her Diana Mini 35mm film camera.
