Meet KCT Fellow Arden Caley
Arden Caley was born in Seattle, Washington, spending much of her time in the San Juan Islands and Olympic coast, where she found her love for nature. She currently attends the University of New England where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental studies.
This summer, Arden is working with the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust to transform a garden area into a living native plant seed bank. This project will not only provide seeds for the Patsy Bray Mahoney Pollinator Meadow but will also aid in boosting the biodiversity of the area and creating necessary habitats for pollinators. Her goal is to learn more about native plants and pollinator species, while connecting this project with the community through educational and volunteer opportunities.
