KCT Thought of the Week, December 5, 2014

“For more than 40 years, the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust has worked hard to preserve our coastline, wooded areas, and even a swamp or two, for all the generations who will follow us here,  They have figured out how to help keep Kennebunkport’s soul as a 17th-century fishing village, while at the same time allowing her to grow as a vibrant town of the 21st century.  That accomplishment is in itself a wonder to behold.  The work they do. . . is so very important to our community and to the future of our town.  Thanks to their work protecting our coastline and educating the next generation on why they must do the same, Barbara and I know without a doubt that our youngest grandchild, and her grandchildren, will enjoy the same sunrises, foggy mornings, and moonlit nights we do now.
