A nighttime wedding on Emmons Preserve

The Trust's headquarters on Gravelly Brook Road is a beautiful spot for private functions. Set on the Emmons Preserve, the property features a manicured lawn, apple trees, flower gardens, wild fields and a forested backdrop. The buildings itself boasts a large greatroom with vaulted ceilings, fieldstone fireplace and handsome woodwork. It also features a wrap-around deck, full kitchen, spacious function room and three handicapped restrooms.

Our facililty has the capacity to seat 40 people in the greatroom and 80 people in the function room. Tables and chairs for 100 are available for use. For larger events, tents may be set up on the lawn. Parking is unlimited; the lot can hold about 30 cars and the road can be used for additional parking as well. We are a DIY venue set on a nature preserve; your event decor, caterer, entertainment, and schedule are completely up to you.

We offer rentals from as short as a weekday evening to a full weekend wedding. The rental includes the use of the building and grounds for the entire rental period, giving you plenty of time to set up, party down, and clean up. Weekend rentals are from Friday afternoon at 4pm through Sunday evening. This allows you the time to setup/breakdown and host several activities on site.

Parking:     

The Trust has 34 parking spaces available at our headquarters.  There is also parking available along the side of the road.  Please be sure your guests only park on one side of the road so emergency vehicles and other cars can get through if necessary; it is a public road. Road signage is available from the Kennebunkport Police Department if you expect to park guests on the road.

 Included with Rental:

Use of our full kitchen, wrap around deck, granite patio with a fire pit, fireplace in the great room and woodstove in the lower function room.  Tables and chairs for 100 available for your use (six-foot banquet tables and black folding chairs). No other materials, equipment, or services are provided by the Trust.

Rental Fees: 

  • KCT’s staff will determine your rental fee based on the type of event, number of guests, time of year, etc. 

  • Deposits - Once your price has been determined, a nonrefundable deposit is required to officially secure your rental date.  The remaining balance is due one month prior to your event.

  • Security deposits - Your security deposit will be returned to you following inspection of the property after the event.   You will forfeit your security deposit for damage done to the property, if it is not cleaned properly, if trash is not removed, if catering supplies or tents are not removed by the agreed time.
