Scouting America
Presented by Troop 304 and Jason Dube, Troop Leader
The Kennebunkport Conservation Trust is proud to be the charter for Troop 304 of the Kennebunks.
The troop is grateful to have the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust as our charter organization representative. In scouting, we’re always doing camping, hiking, cooking, conservation projects, and Eagle projects. Eagle projects are a way to give back to the community as a Scout. Being able to use their facility is great for the Scouts to utilize the trails to do some hiking, to be able to camp out on the yard over behind the building and have a place to have our meetings outside during the warmer months. The biggest event that we do as the troop is helping the Trust on goat Island every June to help clean up the island and get the docks in position. All the scouts look forward to attending that weekend trip. We’ve also had a couple scouts to Eagle projects for the Trust. We also have a troop trailer that we have a big logo on the sides representing Goat Island and the KCT.
